One of LA's favorite perspiration paradises isn't becoming a parking lot after all. Per a vital update from Cycle House—which is moving across the street this fall—their current location on La Cienega Boulevard won't be paved; instead, they tell us the private investment and construction group that owns the property will convert the space into "high-end retail space."
As mentioned previously, the indoor cycling studio is moving into a massive new development on Melrose with Alice + Olivia's relocated boutique and Alfred Coffee & Kitchen's mini-café. No word yet on any confirmed tenants for the planned luxury shopping spot—shall the guessing game begin?
As far as the fitness fiend fave's new studio, Cycle House tells us the cycling area will land at 1,000 square feet. Plus, the new space's interiors will be dreamed up by Allison Rosenberg Design and will feature "industrial materials, galvanized metals, black granite, and edgy details to evoke the authentic, hard-core nature of [our] premier workout."
That's not all—the philanthropic sweat mecca also reveals they're bringing their hardcore workouts to Santa Monica, where they're opening at 1541 Ocean Avenue this fall. Whoo-hoo!
