Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
After two years on Las Palmas and three years on Melrose, Cerre is on the move again. This time the avant-garde fashion stars (and Racked Award winners) beloved by Vogue, MoMa and The Hunger Games are headed to DTLA, a neighborhood that has swiftly become a mecca for out-of-the-box fashion and design.
We hear that husband-and-wife duo Clayton and Flavie Webster will unveil their new location at 801 Mateo Avenue as early as next week. Like-minded DTLA shops include Aesop, Austere, Alchemy Works, OAK and the just-opened Please Do Not Enter.
