Remember how Bonobos was set to open their first SoCal boutique on La Brea in May? Clearly, that has changed. The NYC-based menswear e-tailer tells us that their shop's new opening date is set for Friday, June 27—and it's going to be filled with tons of LA-inspired touches.
Besides showcasing colorful shirts, suits, outerwear and denim, the 1,500-square-foot "Guideshop" will feature the unveiling of Bonobos' design partnership with local artist and furniture designer Stephen Kenn. The custom sofa Kenn created for the store—upholstered in the brand's navy garment dyed chino fabric, no less—aligns with the interior's "clean and modern, yet warm and comfortable feel." Additional West Coast details include an offering of Bonobos' Premium Selvage Denim manufactured in Los Angeles by Caitac Garment Processing.
While we all wait for the grand reveal, tell the dudes in your life to start pre-booking their one-on-one fittings here. Bonobos La Brea will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
