Zara isn't the only global brand that's making big moves in LA. In addition to opening that new South Coast Plaza shop, Scotch & Soda has snapped up some prime real estate in retail-happy Old Town Pasadena, where they plan to open their third LA-area location this summer.
The Amsterdam-based fashion chain tells us they're taking over the 1,560-square-foot space formerly occupied by bookstore behemoth Barnes & Nobles, located at the west end of the historic shopping 'hood. Mirroring the look of their bohemian-inspired stores on Abbot Kinney and around the world, the shop's interior design highlights include "dark wood [flooring], brass fixtures and faded oriental rugs." It's expected to open Sunday, July 27, just in time to join Cali cool label Vince's new store a few doors down.
