Rihanna's super-scandalous CFDA look was actually conceived in LA. Designer and (Rih's River Island collaborator) Adam Selman explains that the 2014 Fashion Icon of the Year winner's naked dress was "just fishnet and [230,000 Swarovski] crystals and a couple of fingers crossed." He and his beau, stylist Mel Ottenberg, dreamt up the look during last month's MTV Movie Awards. Complementing the nipple- and butt-bearing dress was "a pink Pologeorgis fur stole, Manolo Blahnik heels, a ring and earrings by Paul Morelli and a pinky ring by Jacob." A matching do-rag—Rihanna's idea!— was the cherry on top. [StyleFile; Previously]
