Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's all happening! Before Uniqlo opens its generous slew of permanent LA locations this year, next month the celebrated global retailer is set to unleash a major teaser in the form of three pop-up shops scattered across SoCal. The first will open at South Coast Plaza on July 3, the second at Santa Monica Place on July 22 and the third at Beverly Center on July 31.

Per the brand, these pop-ups are meant to give Angelenos a "sneak peek at Uniqlo's signature clothing lines and world-class customer service," and will feature "high-quality, casual clothing for men and women." Budget-friendly, summer-ready merch will include their popular AIRism innerwear (from $12.90), Supima cotton tees and tanks (also from $12.90), and chino shorts ($19.90). Premium denim will also be going for $39.90.

The pop-ups will remain open throughout the summer. If that's not enough excitement to make us spontaneously combust, Uniqlo has just launched a microsite dedicated to all things LA. The platform will feature store opening updates, videos starring local tastemakers and, currently, a Twitter contest where fans can win up to $100 in online deals.

As a reminder, here are Uniqlo's permanent SoCal store opening dates: South Coast Plaza (September 5), Glendale Galleria and Northridge Fashion Center (September 26), Beverly Center (October 10) and Los Cerritos (spring 2015). Ahhhh!
