Over the last few months, we've been not-so-slyly stalking A.P.C.'s slatted wood exteriors ever since they teased us with an April opening. In a very welcomed surprise move, the cult fave French brand opened the doors to their sunny Melrose Place boutique last Saturday. Boasting massive wood doors and ceilings, grey ceramic brick flooring and bright white walls, the brand's store takes a cue from fellow Parisian (and Melrose neighbor) Isabel Marant with a cool courtyard cactus garden.
Welcoming shoppers on both Melrose Avenue and Melrose Place—the latter is the storefront's official front door—A.P.C.'s 2,500-square-foot minimalist cool space offers womenswear, menswear, denim, accessories, kids' merch and a capsule tee line exclusive to LA, plus their collabs with designer Vanessa Seward and Argentinian footwear brand Tango Leike. The label tells us the Melrose space replaces the Croft Avenue shop—which is now closed—as its LA flagship. After the jump, see more photos inside the shop and get vital deets on those DTLA and Silver Lake shops.
In addition, A.P.C. tells us their both their Downtown and Silver Lake locations are slated to open "very close to the end of this year." As far as the coordinates, the brand confirms its DTLA store is opening next to Aesop's former pop-up space, while its Eastside digs will be at 3517 Sunset Blvd at art boutique Gallery 3517's old spot.
A.P.C. on Melrose is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
