Our list of Home 38 contenders keeps getting better. Award-winning design firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios is the creative force behind some of present-day LA's most emblematic spaces (Downtown's Grand Park, Hollywood & Highland, to name a few), a skill they've parlayed into an equally inspiring product line, notNeutral. The brand's bringing its wall-worthy city plates, cool coffeeware and more to Pasadena's buzzy One Colorado complex, where they're opening their third location in stationery brand Papyrus' old digs next month.
Similar to their successful Palm Springs store, the firm tells us their new location will open as a pop-up shop with the expectation that it'll go permanent. Located behind J. Crew and across from Italian resto Il Fornaio on Hugus Alley, the 1,000-square-foot shop will stock the brand's colorful home furnishings, eye-popping dinnerware, printastic pillows, stylish textiles and more affordable home decor, plus a limited edition serving plate inspired by Pasadena's historic Tournament of Roses parade. They're slated to open their doors Wednesday, July 9.
