More good menswear news for your Monday. When fashion industry vet Eugene Kang noticed a major hole in the online market for stylish, wallet-minded guys' apparel for the under-25 crowd, he set out to solve the problem himself. After running e-commerce departments for women's retailers like Forever 21 and Planet Blue, Kang created JONNY IV, a new affordable men's brand inspired by street style meccas like London and LA.
Named after Kang's son and his family's seemingly lucky number (the brand is pronounced "Jonny the fourth"), the line is comprised of Cali cool jackets, button-downs, basic tees, solid and print joggers and more for $16 to $74. In addition to finding inspiration from guys around the globe, the founder tells us "it's [our] customers who are our eyes and ears for what is hot right now, so we welcome their feedback and hope to respond with merchandise that is to their liking." To start, the brand's tapping their Facebook fans to vote for their fave tee design to be produced in their next run.
Dig it? Get to know the cheeky brand and its incredibly friendly founder, plus see more lookbook shots after the jump below.
