Hawaiian Swimwear Brand Letarte Splashes Into Fashion Island

Fashion Island's coastal view seems to be inspiring more than just international swimwear brands. Joining Seafolly at the Newport Beach shopping center is Hawaiian label Letarte, which also recently opened at beach-ready Malibu Country Mart.

Located by Macy's and right across from Kitson's revamped shop, the 1,000-square-foot space reflects Letarte's laid-back Hawaiian lifestyle with dark floors, surf boards and more. As far as merch, expect to find luxe swimwear, rashguards, bohemian-inspired apparel and cover-ups, plus sun skincare and children's beachwear. Perhaps it's time to say "aloha" to a Newport Beach staycation?
