Curating the perfect skincare regimen can be seriously stressful, especially when cool beauty blogs like Into the Gloss and Byrdie offer mounds of celebrity-backed cleansers, lotions and potions for you to choose from. So, how do you round up the essentials without breaking the bank? Enter Beautycounter, a Santa Monica-based startup we first discovered last year.
We're huge fans of Beautycounter's Face Collection, which features six non-toxic products needed for an effective daily skincare regimen. The set includes a cleanser that doubles as a makeup remover, a gentle exfoliator, refreshing rosewater spray, morning moisturizer, night moisturizer and eye cream. All this for a totally reasonable $185. Bonus: Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan, so it must be good.
