If Shakespeare's tragically passionate heroine Juliet was born in modern-day Cali, her rebellious and romantic style would no doubt be at the top of every festival fashion list. The hopelessly devoted Renaissance character is the inspiration behind Capulet, a new women's LA label founded by menswear vets and longtime pals Giuseppe Valentini, Nikolas Aposolopoulos and Chris Berdine.
Already sported by petite blogstar Olivia Lopez of Lust for Life (above) and stylish Song sister Dani, the brand's spring/summer collection ($51 to $532) oozes serious West Coast cool with pieces like the above swingy suede fringe jacket, perfectly tailored jumpers, sporty cropped sweaters, luxe leather shorts and much more. We had a chat with the designer trio behind Capulet; check out snaps from the brand's lookbook and learn more after the jump.
Dig their vibes? Find Capulet at boutiques like Principessa in Venice, Polkadots & Moonbeams on West 3rd Street, DASH on Melrose and online at Revolve Clothing and Planet Blue; see the full list of stockists here.
