Last month, we revealed that legendary Sunset Plaza shop H. Lorenzo Women was set to undergo a major revamp in honor of its 30th anniversary. After temporarily relocating to the retailer's men's store two doors down, founder Lorenzo Hadar is ready to unveil the fruits of his labor. He gave us a first look at the stunning new look.
Charmed with custom-built natural wood fixtures and a milky white lacquered floor, the interior remodel instantly makes the space feel fresh and modern, which fits well with H. Lorenzo's progressive women's inventory and new merchandise. Bonus: the shop has just expanded into fragrance and home decor, offering minimalist-cool goods like Cousu de fil Blanc soaps and candles, Tom Dixon table top essentials and Fanny Laugier French artisanal porcelain.
On Wednesday, May 28, H. Lorenzo is hosting a private re-opening bash that will double as the launch party for the retailer's collab with LAXART, a contemporary art non-profit. Artist Fay Ray will install a sculpture in one of the store's windows facing Sunset. Check that out next week (contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info), and visit the new H. Lorenzo Women daily from 10am to 7pm. The store will be open until 9pm during the summer.
