Inside NY Bazaar Artists & Fleas' Stylish DTLA Debut

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Remember that rad new flea market that hit Downtown's Arts District just a few days ago? NY-based bazaar Artist & Flea enjoyed their trip to the West Coast so much that they've decided to bring it back every 3rd weekend of the month. Their next pop-up is set for June 21-22 from 11am to 6pm.

To get Angelenos stoked for A&F's upcoming encore, founders Amy Abrams and Ronen Glimer sent us some snaps from their May 17-18 takeover. Additional highlights, per the duo: a line started forming at 10:30am; a handful of local artists, designers, shop owners and collectors came down from their Arts District loft apartments to set up and sell with them; folks drove from—gasp!—the westside to catch the show.

Catch flea photos below, learn more about the participating vendors (including our friends at Looksy, above) here and see you at the next show in June!
