After revealing its big plans last year and following the news with a pop-up, Aesop has finally unveiled their DTLA outpost at 9th and Broadway. Following last summer's Abbot Kinney opening, this is the cult-favorite Aussie apothecary's second signature store in LA.
Aesop held a grand opening party last night, where guests marveled over the sleek, 1,000-square-foot space designed in collaboration with local architectural firm Brooks + Scarpa. Utilitarian decor highlights include six-inch cylindrical cardboard tubes for walls, countertops made of recycled paper and three vintage porcelain sinks sourced from a local salvage yard. As for merch, expect a generous range of Aesop's skin, hair and body care products in the brand's signature simplistic packaging.
Aesop DTLA is open daily from 11am to 7pm.
