While we'll always enjoy shopping at LA's many vintage and consignment haunts in the flesh, sometimes our busy schedules—or the scorching heat!—hinders us from partaking in the time-consuming treasure-hunting that these trips require. That's where Reissued, an awesome new social marketplace app, steps in.
Founded by California furniture and interior designer Jennifer Delonge, the just-launched iPhone tool features a curation of the best vintage and one-of-a-kind items sourced from a slew of global vendors, including LA's A Current Affair, Decades and American Rag. Finds ranging from fashion, furniture, art and music can be shared and purchased at the click of a button.
"From the moment I heard about Reissued I knew they would bring the same curatorial eye to their mobile platform as we have at A Current Affair for our retail pop-ups," ACA co-founder and Racked friend Richard Wainwright tells us. "We are thrilled to be a Reissued curator and look forward to the opportunity to elevate our shows to a global level."
The Reissued iOS app is available now in the iTunes App Store for free. Designers, tastemakers and stores who are interested in becoming a Reissued curator can apply by contacting sellers@reissued.com.
