Clearly, Luv Aj knows how to kick ass at collabs. From creating badass belts with serial collaborator pals Stone Cold Fox to rad Blade Runner-inspired accoutrements with Aussie label StyleStalker, the LA jewelry line's designer Amanda Thomas has no shortage of fashionable friends to call on for help. Rather than tap one of her many style blogger pals for her first-ever hair accessories capsule collection, the jeweler-turned-luscious leather maker opted to team up with her longtime hair and makeup artist (and "favorite beauty blogger") Sunnie Brook, who's maintained the manes of stars like Lana del Rey, Jaime King, Rose McGowan and many others.
"In true Luv Aj fashion, each piece has a heavy-metal vibe to it and a bit of an edge. We really saw a hole in the market for amazing hair pieces that weren't so traditional," Thomas tells us exclusively. Priced from $80 to $165, the punk-inspired range is comprised of badass hair barettes, pins and hairchains, each available in gold, rose gold and antiqued silver. The accoutrements drop officially online May 19, and the designer's hooking up Racked readers with a chance to pre-order the pieces starting now.
