Celebrity retail therapy sightings are as commonplace in LA as juice bars and cycling studios, but next month, label-loving Angelenos can shop alongside stars in a papz-free environment. For the first time ever, NYC's "Rolls Royce of garage sales" is bringing its deal-happy shopping spree to Santa Monica's Barkar Hangar Saturday, May 17.
Taking place from 10am to 5pm and hosted by power stylist-turned stylist-turned-designer Rachel Zoe and model Molly Sims, the charity event benefitting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund offers 30 to 50% off LA labels like Trina Turk, Kitson, Planet Blue, Hudson Jeans and more, plus more designer brands like Versace, Kate Spade, Cosabella, Kenneth Cole and much, much more. In addition to shopping luxe apparel and accessories for women, men, kids and pets, shoppers can also find home goods, electronics and more at the day-long affair.
There's more: a host hometown heroes will also be joining the festivities with freebies and pro style advice. While host Zoe's Dream Dry pop-up salon will be offering gratis blowouts, Decades co-owner Cameron Silver will be curating a selection of vintage and pre-loved styles (and no doubt, providing non-stop entertainment while he gives guests pro selfie advice).
On top of all that, shoppers of all ages can also enjoy manis and makeup pampering at L'Oreal Paris' beauty suite, while kids and teens can design and style their own tees in the Stitched Fashion Camp led by Elle creative director Joe Zee and designer Rob Younkers.
Into it? Admission is $250 or $100 for adult entry after 1:30pm, $50 for children ages 6 to 16 (kids 5 and under are free) and yes, your cute canines are welcome too ($20 per pet). VIP service—complete with an exclusive shopping hour, express checkout, valet and more—is also available for $400; learn more about the full lineup of haps and snap up your tickets online here.
