From debuting a pop-up readery at The Standard, Downtown to opening a mural-happy permanent store inside The Standard, Hollywood, it's clear that eyewear brand Warby Parker sees things differently. Fresh off announcing a collab with mega model Karlie Kloss, the NYC label has just revealed its plans to open an out-of-the-box showroom inside DTLA concept space Alchemy Works.
Set to unveil this Saturday, May 3, the Warby Parker Glass House will feature the entire range of Warby Parker eyewear, displayed among shoppable glassware handmade by local vendors. The showroom's show-stopper is a glass-like structure suspended overhead, which will complement the brand's unique display and quirky illustrations. See a rendering below.
After marveling over the super-cool sight, shoppers can place orders using in-store tablets. Sunwear and non-prescription frames can be scooped up immediately and prescription glasses can be shipped within a few days. The brand tells us that opticians will also be on-hand to make adjustments and take measurements for lens prescriptions.
Warby Parker Glass House at Alchemy Works will be open during regular store hours, Monday through Sunday from 12 to 7pm.
