East Coast brands are clearly having a Cali moment. After a minor delay, sporty NYC-based brand GANT Rugger opened the doors of its second LA boutique at 101 S. La Brea (not 109 S. La Brea as previously reported) this past weekend, bringing even more ace menswear to District La Brea.

As promised, the Ivy Leaguer-inspired brand's 1,100-square-foot space boasts a brasserie-meets-collegiate cool vibe, featuring antique brass chandeliers, reclaimed gym floors and an exposed industrial ceiling, plus exclusive decor designed by plant artist Satoshi Kawamoto, who decked out the brand's fall/winter presentation. As far as merch goes, the store offers men's apparel and accessories from the label's signature GANT Rugger line (classic Oxfords, superior plaid shirting, sporty outerwear, etc.) and select women's pieces starting this fall (yay!), and men's items from its GANT by Michael Bastian collection.

GANT Rugger is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 7:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
