As seen with LA's many stylish startups, it's clear our city is a booming breeding ground for #GIRLBOSSES (and of course, #BoyBosses). If you're eyeing behind-the-scenes fashion stardom over blogstardom, next week's Fashion Digital LA conference is a prime playground for picking the brains of the industry's best and brightest CEOs, VPs and more.
Taking place next Wednesday, May 7 at the Director's Guild of America Theater in West Hollywood, the day-long conference includes information sessions, workshops, panels and more with top-rung folks in fashion e-commerce. The event's roster features over 50 speakers, including a handful of Cali-based heavy hitters like Wren designer Melissa Coker, Wasteland's stylish director of e-comm Amanda Mitzman, TOMS Shoes's chief digital officer Zita Cassizzi, Dori Howard of bespoke footwear site Milk & Honey, stylish comedienne Whitney Cummings, and many, many others. That's not all: over 300 bloggers, brand reps, designers and more will also be in the house, including from Forever 21, Walk in My Closet, Keep.com, Fabletics and others.
If you're thinking all this shoulder rubbing comes at a price, you're correct. Advanced tickets are $545 for retailers and $1,445 for non-retailers (they've got your breakfast, lunch and presumably, post-event reception booze covered); register for the event before next Friday to score discounted pricing here.
