After four glorious months of stylish eye candy, Diane Von Furstenberg is sadly packing up her crowd-pleasing (50,000 visitors to-date!) Journey of a Dress exhibit at LA's historic Wilshire May Company Building. The official end date is Thursday, May 1, which means that this is the very last weekend to visit the iconic wrap's 40th anniversary retrospective and marvel over portraits produced by some of DVF's famous pals, including Andy Warhol, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, and Mario Testino.
Lucky for us, this isn't the last of the legendary designer's local presence. WWD reports that DVF is set to open two new LA stores by late fall: one at The Grove and one at Americana at Brand. In addition to obligatory wrap dresses, the debut shops will host ready-to-wear, accessories, handbags and footwear.
Journey of a Dress is open now through May 1. Exhibition hours are Monday through Tuesday from 11am to 5pm, Friday from 11am to 8pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 10am to 7pm.
