As promised, yesterday Desert Hills Premium Outlets officially unveiled its highly-anticipated 50-store expansion, which includes Alexander McQueen's first-ever US outlet. The exciting event also debuted bargain boutiques for Helmut Lang and Belstaff, garnering a crazy crowd of shoppers who arrived as early as 7am. The Cabazon shopping center tells us that "sales were beyond expectations" by mid-morning. Damn.
