As demonstrated by Keira Knightley and Racked editors, overalls are back—and not in an ironic, let's-dress-like-a-farmer sort of way. Tons of brands are currently offering fresh updates to the throwback style, including GUESS, who maintained a strong presence at this year's Coachella fest.

Actress Ashley Madekwe was spotted at the LA-based denim giant's desert bash sporting the label's Paulette denim shortalls ($108). The starlet looked cute, chill and comfy in the overalls/shorts hybrid, which is why we're planning to scoop them up for our next outdoor party stat. (Pro tip: they look sweet with a swimsuit underneath, too.)
