Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Arizona native Natalia Benson is a student of Tarot, Kundalini Yoga and astrology—all of which magically merge in her namesake jewelry brand. The LA-based jeweler has crafted her mystical masterpieces by hand at her studio in Venice for the past six years, earning fans like supermodel Tyra Banks and Style Scroll regulars like It's Super Fashion's Marta Pozzan and Honey & Silk's Stephanie Liu, to name a few. For spring, the designer is rolling out her first manufactured collection of accoutrements, inspired by "the esoteric concept of Mary Magdalene, an ancient high priestess who embodied powerful feminine sexual energy." We're totally into it.

Priced from $78 to $350, the range's pieces all hold hidden symbols and messages from spiritual masters, like this double-banded arrow ring ($168) and this Sun/Moon wand cuff ($350). We had a chat with the on-the-rise designer to find out her current muses, where she goes to unwind and more.

What sparked your interest in tarot and astrology when you moved to LA?
"To be honest, this city completely overwhelmed when I got here & I needed some tools to cope with the stress of figuring out how to balance my life! For me, astrology and tarot became these unique, mystical aspects of life that I had always been really fascinated by but had no idea about. I started self-studying, and the rest is history."

Who or what are your current design muses?
"This may sound strange, but I love pictures of nebulas and deep space. [Designer] Pamela Love, the moon and scouring Pinterest under the search 'alchemy' come in close second; I get inspired by anything esoteric combined with a beautiful aesthetic."

Where are a few of your favorite places to go in LA to relax or find inspiration?
"I love doing design work at Juice Served Here on 3rd. Early evening happy hour at Laurel Hardware is another favorite."
