If dust storm-filled music experiences, overpriced water and driving three-plus hours to witness famous people in floral crowns and fringe are not at the top of your to-do list this week, you're not alone. This Saturday, local anti-Coachella fest Brokechella returns, bringing an entire day of bands, booze, food and retail therapy to Downtown.
In addition to featuring four stages of soon-to-be KCRW regulars, the day-long festival also boasts a fashion marketplace. The stylish lineup includes budget-friendly boho fashion bus Looksy, vintage furniture and decor from e-shop Little Yellow Typewriter, Hester Street Fair faved designer Rojas, on-the-rise LA label Love Nail Tree and plenty more local apparel, jewelry and accessories vendors. Yes, there will be face painting and fanny packs; no, we can't guarantee a ban on feather headdresses or a surprise butt wiggle from Leo D.
Stoked for it? Check out the full roster of musical acts here and score tickets for just $10 online here; otherwise, they're $20 at the door.
