Back in January, we revealed that Chinese brand Bosideng was planning on bringing their East-meets-West style to our menswear scene with a pop-up shop this spring. Local gents were left hanging when silence followed the exciting announcement, so we hounded the brand for more deets. It turns out we won't be scoring another stylish suiting option from the up-and-coming label this season after all, as a U.S. rep for Bosideng tells us they've delayed their LA debut.
In what seems to be a "throw it against the wall and see what sticks" sitch, we're told Bosideng did indeed pitch the idea to pop up in LA. However, the plans simply never came to fruition and the brand decided that the timing just isn't right, the rep tells us. Is it something we did, or does this one get filed under the classic "it's not you, it's me" excuse? In any case, bummer.
