Ace Hotel isn't the only crazy-stylish property on the LA fashion scene's radar: tastemakers are already talking about WeHo's upcoming James Hotel, which is set to open in 2016. Our sister site Curbed LA reveals that the long-awaited Sunset|La Cienega project is "the first hotel to be constructed new from the ground up in West Hollywood in about 30 years." In other words, it's kind of a big deal.
As for James Hotel WeHo's stats, expect two 10-story towers comprised of 286 rooms, two restos, bars in both the lobby and on the roof, and a whopping 10,000 square feet of meeting space. (Brands: start saving up now to reserve that room for your best rager ever.)
There's more: the developers behind the gig, CIM Group, reveal that their Sunset|La Cienega plans also include two more towers with 190 residential units and 40,000 square feet of retail space. We can't wait to see which retailers nab a spot.
