To ensure that we're all on the pulse of what's now and next, we've teamed up with a few of our favorite local boutiques to bring you spring's best forward-thinking trends. First up: Beckley.
Home to stylish parties and one of LA's coolest restrooms, this essential shop never ceases to impress us with its rad array of cult-favorite designers. Here, owner Melissa Akkaway gives us the scoop on three of her favorite seasonal vibes, and which in-store pieces work the look right.
Cut-Out Dresses: "This season, everyone from Opening Ceremony to American Retro has created dresses that show just enough skin to make it tasteful and a great option for the warm spring weather."
Crop Tops with Wide-Leg Pants: "I am loving the wide-leg pant trend—it's very Old Hollywood. I especially love these bright white wide-leg pants by 3.1 Phillip Lim. We have paired them with crop tops to show just a small amount of skin. It's better to pair something slimming on top when rocking wider pants."
Mesh: "A lightweight fabric for the season. I love layering mesh over strapless dresses or tanks. I also love our seafoam green and white mesh dress from 3.1 Phillip Lim; the novelty of the fabric and color block is the right step to head into spring."
