While many stylists admit to snubbing our city's fashion week, they're not ashamed to play the star-studded field that is Tinseltown. Scoring an A-lister is key if you're eyeing a career as a celeb dresser, and it's a move that's helped land a host of hometown heroes coveted spots on the Hollywood Reporter's Top Power Stylists of 2014.

The No. 1 trophy went to vino lover Elizabeth Stewart, whose clients include award show heavy-hitters like Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Jessica Chastain, J. Law and plenty others (more proof: her Instagram's many celeb cameos). Holding on to the No. 2 spot is Petra Flannery, who made last year's cut for dressing actress Zoe Saldana.

Ranking fourth is bicoastal duo Karla Welch and Kemal Harris, who ruled the red carpets by styling big-name stars like Olivia Wilde, Amy Poehler and Zooey Deschanel (oh, and the Biebz). Though reality star/vintage enthusiast Rachel Zoe took home third last year, she was bumped down to No. 6 this time around—is it because Anne Hathaway split for Brit-born, LA-based Penny Lovell, who nabbed No. 12?

Rounding out the top ten is pro advice disher Jeanann Williams, who took spot seven for dressing her "dear friend" Naomi Watts, while jewelry designer duo and stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn scored No. 10 for outfitting J. Lo, Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams. Noticeably absent is colorful Kate Spade stylist Brad Goreski. (Hey, there's always next year?) See the other Angelenos who made the cut (including former Confederacy co-owner Ilaria Urbinati) and read the full list here.
