While we're here in our glorious LA bubble, Austin's annual music, film and interactive conference, South by Southwest (SXSW), is in full effect. Our sister site Racked National is out in Texas partying it up while catching the fest's best appearances. One highlight so far is Inc.'s chat with Nasty Gal founder and CEO Sophia Amoruso, which included tons of business advice and even a sliver of info about the #GIRLBOSS author's upcoming brick-and-mortar store.
After revealing her brand's expansion plans that include growing its in-house line (home and swim categories are coming!), Amoruso said to expect something "pretty" when it comes to the design of Nasty Gal's first LA boutique. It will offer a "luxury experience for everyone" and although she's def the queen of tech, don't expect an overly computerized experience. "It's going to be very human," she explains. "We are a brand that was born on the Internet that is still very human and I don't know if anyone else has done that."
