This morning at 8am, the Peter Pilotto x Target collab officially lands in stores. Below, Racked LA associate editor Danielle Directo-Meston reports live from the #Pilottorama at Target West Hollywood.
7:05am: Up bright and early for at Target WeHo! Only five other people in line. Is this gloomy weather dampering Pilottorama?
7:10am: Staff just busted out the crowd control stands. Consider the crowd of six controlled, I guess.
7:15am: The first girl in line says she got here at 6:30am. "It was pretty unnecessary!"
7:25am: Folks are dressed for max comfort and warmth today. Starbucks in hand, toasty jackets, Converse, cute beanies."
7:30am: Folks are killing time swapping collab shopping stories now. The verdict: 3.1 Phillip Lim was a win, Missoni was meh.
7:33am: Whooo, four more people have joined. It's a party...a very sleepy party.
7:36am: Oh dear, they're now blasting a remix of D.A.N.C.E. by Justice to get peeps pumped. Nobody looks amused.
7:40am: It seems people are really feeling the sweatshirts, rash guards and most of the separates, but are pretty iffy about the red iris dresses and other printed pieces.
7:45am: There are now a whopping 20 people in line! Guy-to-girl ratio: 1 to 10, and looking quite miserable. Is it because of the WeHo club music blasting at 7am?
7:58am: The staff has emerged! One male employee says the collection is "a lot of floral," getting a laugh from the front-of-line ladies.
8:00am: It's showtime!
