LA blogger Aimee song wearing MLV's sequin Bobbi skirt.
What do blogstar Aimee Song, aspiring catwalker (and Kim/Alec spawn) Ireland Baldwin and actress Freida Pinto all have in common? Besides an oddly high Bacon number—okay, maybe just the last two ladies—they're all fans of new LA-based brand MLV.
Founded by designer Mayren Viray—who's served top-rung stints at Bebe and luxe dress label Stretta—the figure-flattering line of tailored tops, jackets, dresses and more is already stocked at a bevy of top-notch boutique chains like Kitson, Planet Blue and e-shop Revolve Clothing. Created for "the woman who demands versatility but is also a little bit show-stopping," Viray tells us her line also channels high-end designers like Alexander McQueen, Isabel Marant and Chanel mixed with the street style sensibilities of It girls like Alexa, Dree and Cara, but with "more approachable pricing."
Standout styles include this very Paris-ready tan printed frock ($329) and this slinky sequined day-to-night dress ($296). Into it? Shop the rest of MLV's collection at their website here.
