Early last month, Silver Lake fitness haven One Down Dog was crowned LA's Best Yoga Studio by Racked poll players, beating out a whopping seven serious competitors. Known for its energetic vibe and, as one reader comments, "welcoming and friendly" atmosphere, the spot's ever-growing list of clients recently inspired the company to move into a bigger, better space.
Located on the second floor at 4343 W Sunset Blvd, the spacious new studio opened on January 26th to align with One Down Dog's one year anniversary. In addition to the brand's adorable logo modeled after founder Jessica Rosen's dog Patrick, design highlights include an eye-catching graffiti piece by DTLA artist Joerael Elliot that says "Get Down." Workouts are fast-paced and energizing, and their signature "SWEAT" class is a fan favorite for its mix of cardio and out-of-the-box yoga flows.
"One Down Dog is unique in that we offer kick-ass, upbeat, sweaty yoga classes where anyone and everyone can come and get a workout while getting a work in," Rosen tells us. "We are focused on creating a strong community and believe that yoga should be fun!" Check out another shot below and book a class soon.
