Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Tomorrow at 7pm, The Lab at sale-happy Siren Studios will be transformed into a marvelous mecca of awe-inspiring artwork. The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual Pieces of Heaven charity art auction is going down, and we have an exclusive first look at the two Mercedes-Benz vehicles that have been tricked-out for the occasion.

In addition to enjoying live music and superstar eye candy (Scarlett Johansson is a fan), guests like Cameron Silver will take in a live silent auction conducted in partnership with Sotheby's. Participating artists include Cat Art Show alums Gary Baseman and Shepard Fairey, and all proceeds raised from artwork sold will benefit The Art of Elysium's Fine Arts program, Elysium Project—a platform that merges contemporary art with philanthropy.

Now, on to the cars! Racked regular Curtis Kulig designed a smiley "Love Me" wrap for a Mercedes-Benz CLA250 and Reindeer Project collaborator Gregory Siff graced a G Wagon (G550) with his signature scribbles. Check 'em out below.
