Here's another sweet event to add to your Valentine's Day party itinerary. Unique LA founder Sonja Rasula is throwing her annual Fake Prom inside DTLA's 18,000-square-foot Unique Space, and it's shaping up to be quite the retro style rager.
"Once I found out that the day of love fell on a Friday, I knew I need to provide a place for all those who hate the traditional stuff," Rasula tells us. "Last year's even was a blast, and now that we have our own building for events, we'll be able to host one giant dance party. The theme is general, so guests dress up in all eras but we expect to see lots of pink taffeta, blue tuxedos and crimped hair. It's a vintage shoppers dream!"
Intrigued? See snaps from Fake Prom 2013 here and purchase $40 tickets here. The bash runs from 8pm to midnight on February 14th; tix include drinks and cocktails, an exclusive Coolhaus make-your-own-sundae state, more snacks, DIY corsages and more.
