Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We're guessing that your holiday party calendar is already ridiculously booked, so to help you get dressed we've teamed up with some of our favorite local bloggers to put a seasonal spin on our Dress Code series.
Last year, we first introduced you to Italian blogger Marta Pozzan, who we crowned LA's next big style star. While it sounded like a lofty title at the time, the Milanese muse has certainly lived up to the hype, teaming up with Topshop, charming LA designers, and even joining us on our first-ever Racked Road Trip.
Here, Marta styles and models three of her favorite outfits spotted at The Grove's new Revolve pop-up, aka our hot pink happy place. Explore the looks below, and shop them all online or IRL at the pop-up before it closes on December 31st!
What: Parker dress ($396), Ashley B faux fur coat ($695), and Steve Madden heels ($80).
Why: A self-proclaimed tomboy, Marta decided to step outside of her comfort zone to showcase this glitzy Great Gatsby-esque number by Parker. (The long faux fur coat doubles as a security blanket and protection against chilly nights.) "This look makes me realize that I need to wear dresses more often!" she tells us.
What: Solace London dress ($221), Jocelyn fur coat ($390; in-store only), Dannijo necklace ($620; in-store only), and Steve Madden heels ($80).
Why: Downtown meets Old Hollywood in this show-stopper brought to you by Solace and Jocelyn. Marta immediately beelined to the super-soft fur, which has been flying off the shelves at Revolve. (Pro tip: merely viewing this incredibly sassy dress on a hanger does not do it justice—make sure to try it on in store to experience its magical powers!)
What: AQ/AQ crop top ($110), Tibi full skirt ($550), and Steve Madden shoes ($100).
Why: This final look is both naughty and nice, thanks to her brilliant pairing of an asymmetrical crop top with a modern, slightly sheer full skirt. (Marta's abs not included.)
