Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

When you grow up with parents working in the fashion biz, developing a love for clothing is inevitable. So was the case for Dora Lim, the fashion-obssessed designer behind LA-based label Greylin. Approved by Style Scroll regulars
(Seriously, they can't get enough.) and celebs like Jessica Alba, Olivia Munn, and Jamie Chung, it's safe to say the Brazil-raised babe is doing something right. Her style instincts can clearly be trusted so we checked in to find out where she likes to shop in LA. Below, she shares on her fave consignment store stocked with all the high-end labels you know and love.
[The Showroom is] a contemporary consignment boutique store in Pasadena and the great thing about this place is that it is carefully and thoughtfully curated with an amazing assortment of designers in excellent condition—from Balenciaga to Isabel Marant. The first time I went there, I thought it was a regular boutique store because everything looked new and well merchandised, which is very different from your average consignment store. [There are] no cluttered smelly racks with odds and ends mixed in. The space is very clean, modern, and inviting. The owner Jaymie is very helpful and very stylish herself. I scored an IRO jacket that would normally retail for $700-800 for $150. A true believer in sustained living, recycling is done right at this boutique store. It is a great place to bring in your beloved designer clothes that you are ready to part with and still feel good by the way they will be presented.
