Earlier this fall, we revealed that Aesop planned to bring its cool and clean apothecary shops to stylish shopping stretches West 3rd Street and Sunset Boulevard, upping the Aussie skincare brand's LA outpost count to five. After a pulse check of the progress at both locations, we can confirm that the stores are still not open. (And let's not forget about that in-the-works Culver City spot, too.)
Though the West 3rd Street space was originally expected to welcome shoppers last month, staff at the Downtown store tells us that Aesop's Silver Lake and Beverly Grove boutiques may not open by the end of this year, and that it's possible they'll open in early 2015 instead.
In the meantime, you can still pick up the cult-fave label's giftable products at its DTLA and Abbot Kinney shops.
