Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Our city lost a true champion of local fashion when indie designer incubator FactoryLA shuttered earlier this year, so the fact that an LA label has settled into its former digs slightly softens the blow. Located next door to sample sale-happy Cooper Design Space, the 4,000-square-foot space is now the flagship of modern menswear brand Ron Tomson and its denim line, RNT23.
Worn by like DJ Steve Aoki, Expendables actor Glen Powell, rapper Ne-Yo, and others, the LA-designed brand is known for its European-inspired apparel. Expect to find dapper blazers, quilted vests, solid and technicolor shirting, luxe denim, and much more; see more of the label's merch online here.
