Known as one of America's first karaoke bars, Dimples in Burbank is set to shutter mid-January. Our sister site Eater LA reveals that the 30-year-old staple beloved by the likes of Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson (this video of the duo singing Boys II Men's "I'll Make Love to You" is a must-watch) is packing up to make way for a "block-long development project" that will include a Whole Foods.
Looking for a new karaoke spot? We suggest Backstage in Culver City or Max Karaoke in Little Tokyo.
