Although hosting stellar sales is one way to lure shoppers into their store, 3.1 Phillip Lim likes to do things differently. Starting now, the NY-based purveyor of cult-cool fashion has installed a peep show-inspired viewing booth inside the Robertson boutique that features a series of shorts celebrating resort 2014 and pre-spring 2015 footwear.
Cleverly named the "Peep Shoe" project, the vibrant films created in collaboration with Dutch video artists Lernert & Sander (take a peek at their rad videography here) were inspired by the real-life stories of the models featured. It also offers viewers an interactive experience via the setup of the scene, since the viewing boxes only cover the face. Shoppers have no choice but to see your feet, which best be decked out in 3.1 Phillip Lim.
