Last spring, jewelry designer/perfumer Sage Machado shuttered her celeb-faved hippie haven Sage on Beverly Boulevard (Madonna, Amber Valletta, Julia Roberts, and Kate Hudson were just a few fans) to focus on private consulting and creating bespoke pieces for her starry clientele. "I always knew I would reopen my store," Machado tells us. "It was just a matter of timing and energy." In early October, LA multi-hyphenate reopened her bohemian lifestyle boutique on Larchmont Boulevard, adding another stylish stop to your Saturday shopping stroll.
Filled with vintage treasures, accessories, furniture, decor, and more finds from Machado's global travels, the 800-square-foot boutique also offers the gem maker's own collection of handmade essential oils, candles, and accoutrements. "My intention is to have things in the shop that you do not see anywhere else—brand names re not so important to me," she says. Expect to find Western-inspired reclaimed jewelry by Totem, fine art by actress and Melora Walters, edgy hand-painted scarves and shawls by Bryan Emerson, and much more.
The Sage Lifestyle is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
