If you prefer to hit up the holiday party circuit in a vintage number or you're looking for more pre-loved wares for your cold-weather closet, get excited: boozy retro treasure trove A Current Affair is popping up at the penthouse of Downtown's Cooper Design Space for its fall installment next week.
Taking place Saturday, December 6th from 1pm to 7pm, expect over 50 vintage vendors at the full-day event. Usual suspects from LA's vintage scene include New/Found, Scout, Buttons & Bows, Bustown Modern, Tavin Boutique, Sweet As..., Just Say Native, Allyn Scura Eyewear, and many other curators offering clothing, footwear, and accessories from the 1900s to the '90s. In addition to featuring an open bar, KCRW DJ Marion Hodges on the decks, food by Amara Kitchen, and more, next month's shopping sesh will be hosted by stylish actress/photographer/singer Jena Malone and Honestly WTF bloggers Erica Chan Coffman and Lauren Kolodny.
That's not all: artist Alia Penner will curate ten technicolor vintage looks featuring her own retro illustrations alongside collabs with legendary designer Diane von Furstenberg, street art star Shepard Fairey, and Brit-based brand Meadham Kirchhoff.
Dig it? Tickets for early entry at noon are $20 and general admission is $10, but you can score discounted entry ($16 and $8, respectively) for a limited time when you buy online here.
