Downtown denim devotees will have to wait a bit longer for their organic and selvedge jeanswear fix. Though Nudie Jeans's Repair Shop won't open as soon as we hoped, we're happy to report that the sustainable Swedish brand has granted us a quick glimpse inside their second LA store. Originally slated to debut this fall, the brand tells us its DTLA outpost will in early January.
As mentioned, the eco-friendly label's 1,100-square-foot showroom will be converted into a retail shop, which will offer its women's and men's denim and apparel and a jeanswear repair bar. That's not all: the brand tells us they hope to host live performances and art shows at their revamped space. For now, socially-conscious jeans junkies can head over to the Nudie Jeans House, which recently scored an industrial-cool makeover.
