Sunset Junction isn't the only buzzing retail stretch in Forbes-faved Silver Lake. Potentially putting haters and angry anti-automobile slashers to rest, Detroit-based design company Shinola (and Clare Vivier pal) is rolling out its first West Coast location over on Sunset Boulevard's 3500 block this week, joining a slew of other cool additions to the hipster 'hood.

Landing across the street from A.P.C. and sandwiched between Mollusk Surf Shop and Aesop, the 1,100-square-foot space will offer the brand's American-made bicycles, watches, leather goods, pet accessories, and more. The shop, Shinola's sixth outpost worldwide, is slated to open this Friday, November 21st.
