Now that Melrose and La Cienega is building up quite nicely, shoppers will surely need a caffeine top-off after heading over from their Melrose Place excursion. As promised, stylish java addicts can get their second fix starting today at Alfred, In The Alley, the long-awaited second location of fashionable coffee shop Alfred Coffee.
Located in the alley around the corner from Alice + Olivia's relocated flagship, the 500-square-foot mini-shop serves up Stumptown Coffee, Farm Shop pastries, and Il Forno Caldo sandwiches. In addition to debuting their cool coffee sleeves designed by Melrose neighbor Kelly Wearstler, the alleyway café is also pouring free cold brew all day today among "other sweet surprises" this week. And about the celeb-faved café's Brentwood spot: We're told Alfred's first Westside coffee shop is slated to open January 17th.
Alfred in the Alley is open daily from 6am to 6pm.
