In today's meta news, Venice-focused blog and marketplace Lincoln & Rose is launching a pop-up shop tomorrow at—you guessed it—the corner of Lincoln and Rose. The holiday-themed store will be filled with goods by more than 20 Venice-based talents, including Rose Avenue Sweets, Sid Vintage Jewelry, Woodman Wallets and Late Sunday Afternoon scarves. New designers will be added frequently, and festivities will be held there often.
"We've had an outpouring of support from the community, and it's the only way we could have made this happen," explains L&R co-founder Nicole Reed. (She runs the site with her husband.) "This opportunity only presented itself a couple weeks ago. Set designer Nanci Bennet, one of our makers who does Sid Vintage jewelry, has taken the lead in helping us design the space in such a short time. Other makers have helped tremendously in letting us borrow props and furniture. We've also called on favors from our handy siblings. Another L&R maker, artist Priscilla Witte, came in did this amazing mural." (Check out a time-lapse video of the mural being created here.)
The Lincoln & Rose holiday pop-up will be open tomorrow through December 31st from 11am to 7pm daily.
