'Tis the season to renew your wardrobe. Lucky for us, LA is filled with ways to effectively scrap your closet castoffs, from putting them on consignment to donating them to less fortunate to trading them in for items pre-loved by someone equally stylish. Helping with that third option is Global Fashion Exchange (GFX), a Copenhagen-founded clothing swap market headed to LA next Thursday, November 20th.
Taking place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland from 4 to 8pm, the H&M-sponsored event will offer Angelenos the opportunity to part ways with their bygone clothes while promoting sustainability. To access the GFX, shoppers must contribute a minimum of one clean, gently-used garment. After making the contribution, their item will go into the common pool of clothing, and in exchange they will be able to select any garments desired FOR FREE. Start rummaging your closet now; see you there!
