Peruse home and gift items while the scent of herb roasted chicken and baking bread envelopes you, during the fourth year of the Artisanal LA show, which starts this Saturday October 11th inside downtown's LA Mart. The event is more of a food-centric show, but there will also be plenty of local brands contributing home ware, decor and kitchen items as well.
In addition to the chef demos and food sampling, there will be workshops (wood spoon making, anyone?) that celebrate the best of LA's handmade wares and crafts-y companies, including pillows by Barrington Blue, Ink & Smog's letterpress stationary and ceramics from Robert Siegel Studio. Perfect for any super organized foodies who start their holiday shopping around now.
Artisanal LA runs this Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance on the website, or $15 at the door, cash only.
